I saw the new movie "Moteki".
Did you see it? Are you interested in it?
It's a Japanese comedic and love movie.
The leading role was Mirai Moriyama.
He is not so handsome but he always performs well.
In the movie, he acted as a dolt who dreamed of having affective sex.
The trouble is that he is particular about girls and he likes only pretty girls.
One woman falled in love with him and declared her love for him.
And though he didn't love her, he made love with her.
Then he gave her many dirty words and she cried.
He always complained about everything and I dislike him.
However, the story had a happy ending for the leading role.
Why could he get the happy ending? I couldn't understand that.
I said that I hate him but I know such some boys around me.
Then he may be a common Japanese boy, I think.
What do you think about modern Japanese boys? haha

Regardless of nationality, many boys like pretty girls. Especially Japanese boys are try to be nice-looking because they want to be liked by many girls. I mean they aren`t confident themselves. I also don`t like this kind of guys.
Modern Japanese guys should be more confident about their personal character, not only looking. So, it`s difficult topic.. haha

I think this movie is unusual and rare. In my view, there are more movie that plural nice men love one girl and she became in trouble. That is the reason this movie has got popularity.
ReplyDeleteI went the movie theater in Shinjuku and I watched Lion King after thinking which movie, Moteki or Lion king. But it looks Moteki is more popular than Lion King. I would like to watch it.

From what you wrote, it doesn't seem that you liked the movie so much because of the characters.
The guy in the movie sounds nasty. I don't think I would like either.
I don't know what to say about Japanese boys in general - Shuhei and Motoki and Shoyo - what do you think? And how about the other female members of the class? Please tell us your opinions in the comment box on this blog.
I think Motoki's comment is interesting - according to what you wrote, this movie doesn't follow the usual plot scenario, which makes it popular because of its uniquenss. Good point!
Hoh, maybe the best solution is to find a nice Icelandic boyfriend next year so you don't have to worry at all about Japanese boys!

I don't know this class guys well but general Japanese boys are called "Soshoku-kei Danshi" and it means boys who are usually shilly-shally and not manly. Almost all the boys look lanky. I think you know or can imagine them.
